Athrodax Healthcare Ltd was founded in 1976 and has grown into one of the UK's most trusted distributors of specialist medical products. From our headquarters at Hawthorn Business Park in Drybrook, Gloucestershire, we supply more than 130 NHS Trusts and a long list of UK Private Health Groups.

Our business is built on three principles: specialist focus, personal service, and long‑term partnerships — with both the clinicians we serve and the manufacturers we represent.

For nearly fifty years, Athrodax has been an independent voice in UK medical distribution. We have worked alongside some of the world's most respected manufacturers in orthopaedics, dermatology and critical care — bringing their products into UK theatres, wards and clinics with the support, training and after‑sales service NHS procurement teams expect.

What we do today

We curate and distribute three product categories — Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Critical Care — alongside an established equipment hire service and a continuing service offer for legacy Waldmann phototherapy customers. Our dedicated sister sites, Athroderm and Athrohab, cover dermatology and rehabilitation in depth.
