Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
Carbon Footprint and the baseline is taken from 2021 to 2022 showing an increase of 2000 KgCO2e (2.04tCO2e) in 2023.
For period 2023 – 2024 a reduction has ben achieved showing a decrease of 2.47tCO2e
For period 2024 – 2025 a reduction has ben achieved showing a decrease of 2.65tCO2e
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next 4 years to 14tCO2e by 2028.
Completed Carbon Reduction
Base line year 2021
Calculations for year 2024-2025 have been adjusted to reflect usage based on the pro rata numbers of employees to give a reflection of Co2 for Athrodax only.
As the building has duel usage for two company’s the energy use recording is for the whole building, so the total electricity consumption 24-25 on the building was 7204Kw and water supply was 194m3 for the period, by using employee numbers as a pro rata calculation Athrodax electricity consumption was 2881Kw and water supply was 32m3 period Mar 24 – Mar 25. Air and road mileage achieved 2.1tCo2 reduction.
The company is registered ISO14001 Environmental Management and is currently efficient as it can be environmentally for heating, lighting, water, household waste and general operational waste. Gas is not used.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard 13 and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR Requirements (we do not meet the requirements to report SECR), and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
